Global Icons to Attend Mahakumbh 2025

The Mahakumbh 2025, a spiritual and cultural event held every 12 years on the banks of the Sangam in Prayagraj, is set to welcome a host of global icons. Scheduled from January 13 to February 26, the event is anticipated to attract millions of devotees and distinguished personalities from around the world.

Laurene Powell Jobs to Join the Mahakumb

Laurene Powell Jobs, the 61-year-old businesswoman and philanthropist, will participate in the Mahakumbh for 17 days. Known as the wife of the late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, Powell Jobs will immerse herself in the teachings of Sanatan Dharma during her stay.

Expected to arrive on January 13, she will reside at the camp of Shri Panchayati Taponidhi Niranjani Akhara, led by Swami Kailashanand Giri. From her first day in the tent city, she plans to engage in various spiritual activities to deepen her understanding of Indian traditions.

Other Prominent Attendees

Sudha Murthy, renowned author, educator, and philanthropist, will also be present at the event. The wife of Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy is scheduled to participate in the ritual dip at the Sangam. Her stay will be hosted near Ulta Qila by Swami Avadeshanand Giri’s camp.

Savitri Jindal, the former chairperson of OP Jindal Group, will join other industrialists, including Naveen Jindal and Gopichand Ahuja, at camps organized by Swami Avdheshanand Giri and Swami Chidanand Saraswati, president of Parmarth Niketan. These camps are known for hosting influential figures during the event.

Celebrities at the Sangam

Actor and former Mathura MP Hema Malini is set to take part in the holy dip at the Sangam. She will stay at Swami Avdheshanand Giri’s camp. Actor Vivek Oberoi will participate in spiritual activities at Swami Chidanand Saraswati’s camp.

The Mahakumbh will also feature Ghazal singer Anup Jalota and actor Rakhi Sawant, adding to the event’s eclectic mix of attendees. Their presence highlights the event’s global appeal and its resonance across various domains, from spirituality to entertainment.

With attendees ranging from global business leaders to celebrated artists, the Mahakumbh 2025 underscores its significance as a melting pot of cultures, beliefs, and traditions.
